all women carry fat on there tummy and thighs.. it's what gives us curves.. .. look around.. *hug hang in there

You are THIN. 120 is more than perfect for your height. Sometimes moms ave a hard time dealing with the fact that their little girls are turning into women, and act that way. Please, don't skip meals, as the only thing that will do is slow down your metabolism. Give your mom the benefit of a doubt, maybe she had a bad day... you're supposed to be enjoying your youth, not worrying about ill made comments. I think you should tell her that what she said made you feel bad, but that you understand that maybe she was having a bad day. Moms are supposed to support us and make us feel good with ourselves. Anyway, i bet you are very good looking, so focus on enjoying your summer, go out and have fun. You are not fat. period.

I feel the same why about myself I am the excact same size as you. I'm 15 years old and I hate the why I look everyone in my life tells me I'm skinny but I just don't believe them. I've been trying to lose weight. I get upsety if someone says I'm fat to. Ithink all most everyone does. Just be happy with yourself and tell yourself you look skinny and look in the mirror when you say it it helps with the why you feel about your self wear clothes when you say it to because when I was looking saying that I felt and looked a lot better when I said it.

find something to make ur every curve look slim. black is a good color but don't wear black every single day. wear jeans that make ur butt look big by wearing tight jeans but not tight wear they can see every detail of ur thighs. i never went thru this but i'm suggesting. try not eat a lot of things all at one time. work out by running, biking, sit ups, crunches, and push ups.next time wear a bathing suit short bottom. and wear a bathing suit tank top instead of a bra like bathing suit top. don't lose so much weight that u look sick and don't over work urself. go to the gym every once or twice in a week. hope u feel better.

it takes me so long to find a bathing suit to cover my chest because its really big.
And I feel fat all the time because I have thunder thighs and I weigh 135 and i'm 5'6"
my mom has never called me fat but I feel that she has implyed it.
I cope by ignoring it, well i try to but its kinda hard, and I try to get in shape. Like, I've been known to skip lunch too.

yea, people call me fat as well....and the worse thing is, i USED to not be fat....but because people kept calling me that and i let it get to my head, i actually became fat....and now i have like huge thighs which i used to not have....the thing is...my mother kept nagging at me telling me i was fat when i wasn't.....and so i decided to show her i was annoyed by eating more....and i actually have loss because i'm fat and she's not suffering anything.....and it didn't show her my point.....some ppl, they decide to lose weight because of all the pressure....then they turn into anorexics or bullimics or go way too extreme....thing is, if we listen to the comments of others about our weight, it changes our thinking and may drive us to do certain things.....are u happy about your weight? do you think you're too fat?? as long as you're not obese or anything, you don't have to lose weight....do it because its what you want and not because of the comments of others....i hope you choose to not listen to others the way i did, because now, i'm suffering...and when i look back at picts, i didn't look fat at all.....so i hope you do the right thing....and its ok to lose weight, but make sure its for the right reason...hope this helps!

Your body is not the most important thing in the way although sometimes you tend to look at it that way. Try to concentrate on other thigns... you will feel better

its normal to feel insecure about your body. but 5'4" and 119.5 isn't bad at all. i'm 5'5" and 125. i'm going to the gym every morning with my best friend and after every workout, i feel better about myself. maybe this will help you. =)
