Well now there is a question
I was born in California but never felt at home, since my dad is Canadian I lived in Canada that felt more like home after joining the army I lived in Panama, Nicaragua,Honduras,Guatemala, Virginia, South Carolina, Texas Louisiana.
I have been to about 40 states 8 provinces 1 territory and lived 4 countries on 2 continents I now live in England but I would say the best places I have ever lived is British Columbia, and Oregon those felt most like home so home is where you hang your hat but where you are from is the place that most makes you feel at home.
Now while I am not from BC or Oregon I am from there.
People really make the place and out of 7 European countries Africa central and south America the nicest people on earth live in these 5 places BC, Oregon, the Czech republic ,Alaska and Wales so if you are from one of those places you know you are co0l.
I would like to thank the people of earth for making me feel welcome in almost all the places I have ever been

Well it is nice to know that there are other brits here. I can actually cover everywhere in Britain except Ireland. I'm English, grew up in Northumberland and moved with my parents to Yorkshire. We had a few addresses but all in the North-East of England. I also studied in Yorkshire at university. Then I went to Devon for a year, in the South-West, the opposite end of the country. Now I'm in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, studying at the moment but I plan to stay here indefinately. My great great grandfather was also Welsh. The Scottish connection is my ancestry, my mum's maiden name is McAllister, although you have to go back a long way to find my relatives living in Scotland. I also have Shetlandic blood. Hello to all my British friends who should all be wide awake by now.
