i need to share an internet connection that is only avilable through the computer...

I have a laptop that is connected to the internet throught my sprint smart device... this is my only means of internet.. this connection can only be shared through the laptops i.c.s.. what hardware should i use to plug up my xbox 360 which takes an ethernet connection.

it must be a piece of hardware that i can connect to the laptop and then connect to the xbox/computer... please help ?

If you don't have an ethernet connection for your laptop then you can be an adapter/pmcia card. You can get a wired card or a wireless card.

Then you will need a router, wireless or wired, to connect to your modem.

Then you will need a cable to connect to your XBox 360 to the router.

You might just want to take your laptop to BestBuy or Circuit City so they can tell you want your options are.

Maybe Wireless is the way to go. U will need a wireless Modem attached to your main computer and a wireless network card on the other.

crossover cable ethernet.. usb to usb..... router...... wifi...... bluetooth..... infared..... crossover will be fastest mode to transfer data.
