PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!! Nothing is more important than experience...! I taught a little girls' basketball team, and watching them from the 1st game to the last game, was amazing! You really see how they improved, just because of a little time and effort! Practice your "form" when shooting, and dribbling drills are a MUST! Start under the basket, and every shot you make, take a step back. If you want to improve your vertigo, do endless squat-jumps on an incline--it works!!! As long as you don't give up, and keep at it, you're bound to get better!! GOODLUCK!!! =)

lots of practice! If you haven't already join a basketball team. To get better at your dribbling try to dribble a tennis ball. I know it sounds dumb and its very difficult but if you can master that you will be unstoppable with a basketball. Practice lay ups and shooting as well, shoot from all around the basket over and over and over again. You should also run daily to keep your endurance up. do a lot of cardio training

The one most important thing you can learn to be consistant and good is on your jump shots, keep your elbow tucked in.
