Aight, good news, this year our high-school football team is going to stomp out all the competition, "bad" news, I'm a starting senior-lineman, at 230 lbs and 6 foot in height, Sounds great, but I have some problems

1. I can't "explode" off the line
2. I'm slow
3. My bench max is only 185
4. I get winded after about 600 yds

I need a work out plan that can overcome these obsticles, if I don't my one dream will die! So if someone could PLEASE help me, I only have 1 more shot at this.

1.) Do plyometrics (box jumping, etc.)
2.) Do sprints
3.) Start lifting
4.) Go endurance running

I'm not going to give you a detailed work out plan, because it would be a waste of both our times. If your coach is any good at all, then he will already have a summer football league up and running for players to participate in. Start there.

You're not made to be a lineman if thats your problem you need to think about maybe being a full back or something you're too small for most decent high schools. But yea you need to work on power lifting and go for max weight
