Sounds good, but I would make a suggestion...

Get 2 of the HDD's and configure it in a RAID 0 for better read/write speeds. Or get at least 2 more and configure it into a RAID 0+1 that would give you the speed benefit and provide data protection, too.

My system speeded up tremendously when I did that. It once took about an 1.5 hours to copy a DVD movie. After I configured my system with a RAID 0, the time was reduced to about 25 minutes.

Just a thought.....

Up the RAM to 2GB.

Up the HDD to something like a WD Raptor or another 10,000 RPM drive.

The rest of the specs are impressive, but a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.

Great.

You can get another 1GB RAM and also use higher capacity hard drive so that you may not need to upgrade the computer for a longer period of time.

and it runs solid at 4.1GHz
