That movie changed my life when I saw it at 17.
Who else loves this classic dark comedy?

Ruth Gordon. (passed away in '85)
Bud Cort (Harold) has been in a LOT of movies since H&M in '71, icluding that Bill Murray flick "Life Aquatic"-something.
I had an opp' to talk to him on the phone some years ago when I worked at a radio station to try booking him for an interview, but he said wanted to be compen$ated for it. (we never paid for interviews)
He said he considered H&M "old hat".
I felt so disillusioned.

I actually didn't get this film for a long time, but I don't mind the weirdness, now, and I get the twisted humor. I remember thinking that it would be more meaningful to people with a rigid upbringing, which I didn't have. ...Bud Cort was also in the classic movie M.A.S.H. ... and Ruth Gordon was great in My Bodyguard.

Ruth Gordon and Bud Cort, I believe. Both had great careers, I believe. Great movie.

yeah I saw it. I like the actress who played Maude...Ruth _____. She was great. Wasn't she in Rosemary's Baby too? Whatever happened to the guy who played Harold? Was he ever in anything else?
