Any younger luminaries in the party I can keep an eye on? I know Barack Obama is suppsoed to be the hope of the future but he seems so empty to me.

well... as it often seems, both parties seem weak for candidates... I like Edwards, Obama and Warner, but to put them up there with FDR and JFK... that's a bit much...

But I don't see any Reagans around the corner for the Republicans either, so it could be a little messy...

But at the same time... I doubt anyone was really thinking FDR or JFK would go down as great presidents two years before they were elected either...

EDIT: Mark Warner, Gov. of Virginia

I can tell you something. There are practically no Democrats that I know of except for Barack Obama who have the same characteristics of FDR and JFK. Its a little disappointing.
