Besides the time I saved all those people in the Nakatomi building? Well... ugh, I can't believe I'm answering this question. I think it's when I stayed up all night with my sister. We got in a really nasty car accident and she broke her ankle. When we got home from the hospital she seemed fine. But as soon as it was time for us to go to sleep she started crying. So I stayed up in her room and kept her company until she went to sleep. And I didn't get any freakin' sleep most of that week.

Helped to raise five children who are all now responsible, compassionate, relatively successful adults. They are raising their children ( eight, with another on the way ) to be the same way. The effects of my having devoted a major portion of my life to raising great kids will have a widening impact that cannot be measured.

I once gave up the love of my life, when I was in my twenties, because I knew that she would be happier with another guy.
It was the most painful thing I have ever done. Not a week goes by when I don't think of her.
But I was right about one thing. She did end up with him, they married and are still happily married with two adorable children.

Volunteering at the daycare center at the Hunter's Hope Crabbe's Disease Symposium. It's incredibly heartbreaking to see the kids in wheelchairs or struggling to walk and talk, but at the same time it gave me such hope because they were all playing together, even though there were language, cultural, and ethnic barriers in the way.

The best thing I ever did........I'm not certain. However, I am sure that the smartest thing that I ever did was grant my ex-husband an uncontested divorce.
