What can i do to break my 3 year bf out of being a jealous control freak.

All you can really say to him is this," Hey, I love you alot (his name) but if you don't stop getting jealous and controlling me, them I'm going to have to end this relationship." If he doesn't agree, then it is best to end it.

its not a phase, its not a "guy thing", and its not cute! he's insecure in the relationship...whether he was hurt by someone in the past or has low confidence.
you cannot fix it for him. think about this.....was he okay in the beginning of the relationship, and over time now has gotten MORE controlling and jealous?? if the answer is yes...then honey, you are in for a VERY bumpy ride if you continue to stay with him. it will increase even more in time.
when you are in a relationship based on friendship, honor,trust, and communication....you will never have regrets about ditching the jealous control freak!

Not all guys are jealous. I found that guys that have been hurt by cheating girlfriends (girls in the past) tend to always suspicious
of any girl they are with after.
Honestly, I don't think there is any real way of breaking him of jealousy.

I have this problem with my girlfriend. It has to be frustrating for you and my girlfriend but in my situation I have been cheated on by girls in the past and so that affects how I view my girlfriend and her interactions with men in her life.
As odd as this sounds I do it because I love her and I do not want to loose her. I do know that it is a problem and I wish nothing more than to not get so jealous when she goes out with her friends but it is a problem that I am working through.
I am sure you tell him all the time that he has nothing to worry about but be sure and let him know that he has nothing to worry about. When me and my girlfriend first starting dating she would let me know when plans changed when she was with her friends. She did this voluntarily and she did it in attempt to earn my trust.
Let your boyfriend know that if he works with you, you will work with him in this matter. If you go out drop him a text and let him know if plans change or if you are alright. Should you do this, makes sure he knows that this is conditional upon him not getting mad at you or being jealous.

First I advice you to talk to him and express your feelings toward the situation. Be sure not to blame him for anything just talk and make it known that you would appreciate an improvement. If nothings improved it would probably be best to leave the relationship if his control issuse are bothering you...

You can't...........usually when someone is that jealous or controlling it means they are doing something wrong. How can you love someone like that cause trust me he aint gonna change

sometimes that just cant be broken.. it comes natural to a guy when they like a girl to be really jealous...and be glad hes jealous shows how much he cares for u....imagine if he wasnt jealous... i dont think youd like that much make u think like theres someone else or he dont care bout u... think about if he was or wasnt jealous...i think youd rather him be jealous

Tell him that if he doesn't trust you, than you shouldn't be together. Threaten the break up.
