I had difficulty conceiving with my first two children. I finally did by trying to make love every day for a month. I kept track on the calendar of the days we succeeded. At the end of the month I counted back the days before and after my period that we had missed and the following month we made sure to make love on those days. It worked like a charm! Best of luck to you!

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

15 days befor your next circle take a hot soaking bath for about a half hour. Your husband is to pick you up from the bath tub and carry you to the bed, You must stay in a horizontal position and your feet must not touch the floor, this is important.. Instruct your husband that just when he is about to release is sperm he must penetrate you as far as he can in order to make full contact with your uterus and hold it there for at least 1 minute. After that you must lay there for at least a half hour. Do this same procedure every night until you realize that your next circle never arrived.

um...intercourse, with no protection (this also works for contracting STDs), oh and don't forget to stand on your head afterwards.

**if you are unsure of how to "get pregnant", are you sure you should be trying?
