Places I should take photos in Houston Texas

I just moved to Houston recently, I have a degree in photography. I would suggest the North part of Houston, there is a lot of nature-y places. Downtown is beatiful place as well. I'm curious of what kind of pics you are looking for...

Here's a few ideas for you: the Houston Zoo, The Beer Can House, and the Menil Collection. All different...all very cool.

Downtown and the Galleria.
Downtown has a lovely evening skyline. Go to the museums in the museum district, also nice area to walk around for photo shoots, near The Warwick Hotel.
For barbecue, go to Goode Company.

Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge. Mostly alligators, but many species of birds as well.

Try their downtown area a take pictures of locals, and architecture and parks in the area.
