I have a friend who's fourteenth birthday is coming up in 2 days and I'm not sure what to get her. I don't really know her but I know that she doesn't wear jewelry, perfume, or makeup and she's more of the athletic type (her favorite sport is b-ball) and her favorite team is the Texas Longhorns. I was just thinking about getting her some Longhorns flip flops but if you can think of anything better I would be happy 2 hear it.

Go on ebay,if you have the time.Search for longhorns,you`ll see alot of steer horns,but there are some texas longhorn[the university]things for sale or juat google texaslonghorns and hope for the best.Shoes are not a good gift idea,old superstition...the
person you give the shoes to will walk out of your life in a year
or less.

I think you should get her something like a longhorn basketball. I have seen them at athletic stores. Or you could get her something else athletic from the stores. Have fun shopping!!! LOL

I think that is a nice gift Idea. Or even Longhorn fuzzy slippers. Girls like fuzzy stuff. She sounds sporty and active so anything with her favorite team will be a big hit. Don't forget a nice card too.

Why don't you ask her? Maybe she would like to just go to a movie or even just hang out with you. Try a homemade gift or card. Try framing a picture of the both of you. Sometimes we worry about spending money when all we have to do is let the other person know we care.
