Hawaii

(1) here - because I love the mountains, the 4 seasons, the people. Living in a small town but close enough to the cities for what that offers.

(2) Hawaii - I love Island living (maybe because i was born and raised in the Rep of Panama where we have water on both sides of the isthmus). However, weather is much nicer in Hawaii - love those winds. Laid back people. Great food. Flowers.

(3) Carmel, California. Small town atmosphere. GREAT food. Shops. Fantastic weather.Beautiful flowers. Close to places like Monterey, San Diego, La Joya (driving distance close). Just love it there.

Lake Pend O'Reille, ID

Because it is an absolutely beautiful alpine lake, that only the Navy knows for sure exactly how deep it is. You have the best of everything there, the lake, the mountains, ski resorts, fishing, snowmobiling, etc.

Phoenix, AZ. It's hot and DRY there, and sunny almost all the time. But my life is here in Indiana, so I endure the cold, the snow, the hot soggy days like today... long live corn country!

San Diego - Weather is spectacular all year round, the beach is right there, mountains are short drive away too. And it you have to flee the country for any reason, Mexico is next door.
