Is it reality to think if I get a Quote for a website to be built, that I could get Advertsers help with the cost and actually have them pay for the cost of the what it takes to build my Idea based on forcasted income and future traffic demographics that I have put in to a powerpoint presentation and backed by my future customer demand. Could I get an advertiser to fund me based on my presentation.

You are looking for investors not advertisers. Advertisers are most likely going to want to see some hits and stats first. You will probably need a working model of the site (beta at minimum) to get people on board.
Good Luck!

Maybe...but these days it takes more than a nice traffic flow to make money off ads in the Internet world. Few sites survive on that alone anymore. You'd make more with links that click through to merchants that are selling products. You can join networks like BeFree or Commission Junction where you pick the products, put them on your website and if your site visitors buy anything (after clicking through your site), you get paid.

Also you can put Google Adwords on your site and make money off that.

But..just selling ads is a tough sell and pay rates are like pennies for thousands of click throughs!

Now..you still might get other money for your website. You need more than a powerpoint though. You need a formal business plan. Take a class online or offline in how to write a good business plan.

Be prepared to show data supporting that there is a market for your product and how you got that data. You talk about future demand, but is that a guess or have you solid research data to back it up?

You have to show how you will make money, how you will get people to even find your site - it can take months and lots of money on search engine optimization to get a good natural search engine placement.

It is rare to start a business with absolutely NO seed money. People are more likely to invest in a working venture that needs money to grow. So expect to put your website up on your own dime and begin to work it.

You won't be able to get advertisers to even talk to you unless you have provable metrics like "my website currently attracts 10,000 unique visitors a day, of which x% become customers."

In other words, no..you won't get real advertisers without a proven audience. You can get the BeFree or Commission Junction ads up front, but they only pay on performance so until you have site visitors who are clicking through their ads to buy, you won't make any money there either.

Why don't you get your own website and place your powerpoint presentation on it. It will only cost you $10 per month and you have the entire globe. Go to www.johnbailey.ws.

Your answer is no.

Your "projections" will mean absolutely nothing to an advertiser or agency. That's one reason start-up print publications give ads away until they can get circulation up.
