North Korea hates the United States since the end of WWII, not because of Bush. North Korea was supported by the then Soviet Union and the South by the United. So the hate goes back to the Communist-Democracy tensions.
I do not believe that North Korea will start WWIII because it does not have the capability of executing it. If it launches a missle, that means North Korea will have to face the militaries of the United States, Japan, and South Korea. Given that, they'd pay dearly if they launched a missile.

Korea wants to be seen as a power that is why they are testing the missle, they say it may eventually be able to reach the coast of the United States. I think Jay Leno said it the best......
"We need to just remind Korea that we have 10,000 missles that could be there in about an hour"
I hope there is no WWIII, my history teacher said
"WWIII will be fought with nuclear weapons and WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones"
That really is true

Well most of the world hates the US because the US is top dog and everyone hates the top dog. NK isn't trying to hit the US, this whole missile thing is just NK trying to get attention for itself. They now well enough that if they do anything that can be construed as an act of war they will be pummeled. They will hardly start WWIII they don't have the guts to actually go through with anything.

NK is not trying to hit anybody. They are simply testing their missile. And I guess every country has a right to build their defense systems. Also the missile can barely make it to Alaska and doesn't have the range to cross the pacific. The American government wants to scare the chicken in you to think that you are under attack. The same tactic they have been using for the last 5 years. Just get over with your panic attack already, little chicken heart friend.

the korean war that happened in 1950 was to stop the spread of communism. since they lost and are still a communist counrty. maybe this is why Korea hates America and wants to launch the missles

I've heard and seen people get crazy-happy over killing Muslims, so I don't see a particular difference really. Also, we intervened in their affairs, which was what the Korean War was all about. I would be salty. In fact, a great portion of the world is salty over America meddling in their affairs.

We might be helping one of their worst enemies. Or they are on Iraq's side and are also trying to kill us. I don't know about the war part. All I can say is time will tell.

well, theres a lot of animosity from WW2, when the US and Russia split up their country. But their leader is also tottally oppressive, they dont get any news aside from what they're told, and they're told we're horrible monsters.
