I don't think so. He's 6'8'', fast, and a great scorer.
Tell me who you think can beat him and why!

To the guy who said kobe scored 81 points in a game; so what? Wilt scored 100 points in a game, and he DEFINETELY couldn't take Lebron

The only thing Ron Artest could beat Lebron in is beating the crap out of fans - he does that really well

I don't think any of the aforementioned guards could take Lebron, though I think Kobe would come closest. The only other player I would consider is Kevin Garnett. He has the lateral quickness to stay reasonably with Lebron and the length to close in the gaps. When Lebron lowers that shoulder, he's an ox for everyone except Shaq. KG's low-post game and shot-blocking are what might give him the edge.

Plus, I do remember a story of him being always beating everyone one-on-one on the national teams he was on.

One on One= NO ONE. Not Wade (overrated even after the series), Not Kobe (great, but not on LeBron's level). You take Shaq, Walker, Mourning, etc away, what do you have in Wade? An average to slightly above average player. With Kobe, they took his toys (Shaq, etc.) away, and he's come back to earth. LeBron hasn't really had any stars along for the ride, yet he rakes game in and game out. Barring a major injury (even Jordan missed most of one year from a broken foot), LeBron will break all the scoring records, and be noted as the GOAT.

Kobe is the guy with the best chance of taking him 1on1. Kobe shoots way better and as strong, quick, and athletically gifted as him.

Kevin Garnett is another dude who could. Length, decent quickness, heigth advantage, and good shot-blocking ability for defense. On offense all he'd have to do is back him down, spin, and dunk it every time.

Other players with a decent chance:

- Tracy McGrady(a carbon copy of LeBron only shoots better but doesn't play as hard)
- Dirk Nowitzki (big size and shooting advanage)
- Shawn Marion (decent shot, quick as a cat, and jumps like he just got shot out of a cannon)

Hmm..offensively...??? I'd pick Kobe or Dwayne Wade, because both are clutch shooters that can make the baskets under pressure. Defensively? I'd pick Bruce Bowen from the Spurs to defend him, because honestly...? He is the best perimeter defender in the league, and has stopped people like Gary Peyton, Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant, etc, etc. Nice question..! =)

....kobe defintly, kobe will murder lebron in a 1 on 1. kobe is more expierenced and can play much better and make tougher shots. AND he plays better Defence

D WAde can probably kill him bringing him to the rack. RON ARTEST might be able to shut him down

I think Dwayne Wade can because I think Wade is on entirely different level than lebron and Kobe could to. If Ben Wallace could shoot he could also because of his size, strength, agility, speed, and anticipation

You have not seen Lebron play live. Don't let the sportscaster hype and camera angles blind you. They are paid to create excitement and celebrity. Cavaliers in the finals.
