If you were brought up in a Christian home where going to church was expected. By having those beliefs your neighbors and friends thought you were more trust-worthy, honest, and all-around good person, then they would trust you more and be more apt to pick you as a leader.
If you were someone who defied the church and worshiped satan you would have less of a chance to win a nomination, based on the fact that the general public wants someone who is good and will do go for them.

Because the others had lied so much for long I was sick of their faces.
Kennedy I just want yo slap him.. and I will never get over him holding up a Bill for Children's rights against Sex Predators for 2 years because he wanted to add his own agenda to it. And any person he supports--I have to wonder about because Kennedy only likes those who will agree with his GREEDY nature.
I don't like Bush neither but he was better than the other. Snakes

I think people voted for Bush because they though he was better thsn his opponent, John Kerry. Unfortunately, Kerry has no substance and he ran on the platform: Vote for me, I'm not George Bush. Ignorant people did just that. But most Americans voted for someone they knew instead of someone they didn't, whether they liked him or not. At least they knew something about him.

Why did some people vote for Clinton because he's good looking? By the way, numbskull, many people voted for JFK because he was a church-going Irish Catholic. And, in America, one may cast their vote however they choose. What was your criteria? The man who had married the most wealthy women and sucked off their fortunes?

It's because people that are scared are very gullible and besides that was the image that got him elected to the Governor of Texas so he could kill all those inmates. Before that he was a known drunken coke head.
