With pointed fangs it sits in wait,
With piercing force its doles out fate,
Over bloodless victims proclaiming its might,
Eternally joined by a single bite.
What am I?

I'm not really sure, but it might be a coyote. My cat got eaten by one and there was no blood when we found her tail in the yard. ("over bloodless victims proclaiming its might")

I believe its a snake because snakes dont draw blood when the eat and they get their victim in a single bite.
