I live in a mobile home park and my son is going to be fined $50 for being on his skateboard. It falls under the part of the lease that says no playing with kids toys in the road

whoever charged your son should burn in hell!! Skateboards are NOT toys they are tools. Like a surfer uses his surfboard to ride waves, like a fisherman uses his pole, Like a painter uses his brush to paint.... Skateboards can be used as transportation, but they are definitely NOT childrens toys. skateboards, like bikes (which are by the way means of transportation) require something else childrens toys don't: risk. The high risk of breaking an arm, leg, or skull, getting cuts bruises etc. are all part of skating. To avoid having this happen again though, I suggest you drop your kid off (with helmet and equipment) next time to a FREE skate park so that way you don't have to waste fifty bucks.

It is both. If he is trying to get around than it is a means of transportaion. If he is playing in the street with it then it classified as a kids toy.

Oh its definately both. You have the toy when your bored and the transportation when your parents wont take you where you want to go. See it's both.

A car is a must, housing is incredibly expensive and there are no jobs here right now. DO NOT MOVE TO LA UNLESS YOU HAVE A JOB LINED UP!!!

Neither, but I think it's more of a exercise tool, like a bike.
