if you DIDN'T include the SCORCHING MAGMA and the EXTREME VELOCITIES EXHIBITED BY FALLING THROUGH THE EARTH and also the CHANCE THERE IS WATER ON THE OTHER SIDE THAT WOULD EMPTY INTO THE HOLE, you would go down easy, but then it would become increasingly hard to climb out of the hole once you are at the center. also, gravity will be stronger at the middle and close to it. here is a diagram. gravitational force is measured as 1 weakest and 4 second strongest, then () as the center. [ and ] are the crust
weeeeeeeeeeeeeee center of earth!!!!
[ 1 2 3 4 () 4 3 2 1 ]
basically, closer to the center of the earth, greater gravitational force. you could get crushed by the gravity in the center anyway and there would be not enough oxygen to breathe for the extension of the trip. revisiting the make a hole to china and maybe end up in a ocean idea, here is a link.

this is kind of cool. double click where you are digging from, then it will show where on earth you would end up. if you dug from china straight down, you would end up in south america. try it.

Assuming that the hole would not collapse in on itself, it was precisely through the center of the earth, was precisely straight, and you were somehow impervious to the heat at the center, you would fall through, come out, go up a few feet, then fall down again. You would repeat this process seesawing back and forth until you came to a rest at the center. You would then be forced to climb out so bring some mountaineering gear. You need not worry about bouncing off the sides since the earth's spin would have imparted its energy to you when you jumped. You would think you were falling straight down, but you were not stationary before you jumped, you were spinning along with the earth's surface.

Lets assume the molten rock in the center of the earth isn't a problem, as well as the temperature. You would descend at a rather rapid speed flying past the core a distance then returning to pas back up part of the way you came in, in ever decreasing distances until you eventually end up nonmoving in the center of the earth. This is refering to the gravity.

An interesting question... one I've posited to myself many a time.
Assuming it was a perfectly straight tunnel, and perfectly smooth, and you didn't fry up in the molten centre, you would keep falling to the centre, and then momentum would carry you almost to the other side, before you slowed down and started falling again.
Then you'd fall back towards the centre again, and momentum would keep you going, but this time you wouldn't make it quite as far as you did the last time.
This would keep happening, but each time you'd end up just a little bit further away from the end of the tunnel than you did the last time.
Eventually, you'd run out of momentum and end up floating right in the middle.

You'd die. Assuming you didn't do that, you'd do the yo-yo thing, speeding up to maximum speed at the center, and slowing down to zero again on the other side, where you'd start to fall again. If you had a vacuum in the tube, you could do the yo-yo thing perpetually. However, before you did that, you'd slam into the side of the tube, because the earth is rotating, and since you'd no longer be connected to it, you'd fall in a straight line. The rotating earth would slam into you like a bat on a ball (more like a flyswatter on a fly!).

Besides dieing, you would jump in and get to the other side, but by then you would just be a ball thanks to gravity, but you would keep going to one end and back to the other. You would never stop in the middle, but that is assuming that you could keep the magma from the mantle from getting you. You would die in about 5 seconds because of the pressure though and it would be weeks before you would reach the other end, if not months!
I hope that is a good answer for you.

You'd be ash before you could get your hiney over the hole :)
If you could cut thru the planet in one shot like that (super-powerful laser or the like), you would create a pressure void that the weight of the techtonic plates would shoot lava out of the hole, possibly faster than the speed of sound (see source)

Well considering no one has done this, and that it is not going to happen anytime in the near future. Its really hard for anyone to give you a real answer. Yes you might burn in core, you might just die, who knows you might survive and come out the other end for all we know. Use your imagination.

if u were wearing suitable protective equiptment,u would be likely to fall to the centre then stop.however the fore-mentioned hole would probably cause the earths magnetic field to disrupt slightly resulting in global destruction.
