is it too harsh to consider having guys sex changed into women and thrown into male population prisons after being caught & convicted of sexual abuses?

i think if parents were atleast charged, and had to live w/a criminal record bc they used a computer as a babysitter, and that child gets hurt. the parents would be more involved in their childrens activities. its unreal how parents accuse everything but themselves responsible for the harm THEY ALLOWED by their lack of involvment. "it was the schools fault" really? how often have you gone there besides dropping off or getn your child?
"its the net, and predators on it"
so they dont have a pc in their room, you have it in a common area of the home where you can keep an eye on them. even if its in their room, you have keystroke and grannyware to prevent them from sites and monitor EVERYTHING, they do and say.
no matter what where or when parent(s) have the burden to bear to keep a child safe secure and loved til theyre atleast 18. and always if theyre living under your roof, unless the kids paying rent

I don't think it's enough or will stop them.Still maybe they need to do a sting on the kids and teens who lie about their age and instigate some of this. Instead of pretending to be an underage child, try pretending to be the predator and see how many teens, and kids are also responsible, then bust the parents too. Start bringing their faces and names on tv too. It should be the the predator, the underage person and the parents for not monitoring what their child is doing. Everyone is responsible when this happens. If parents taught their kids, then predators wouldn't have anyone to talk to

I think you are right about the need for parents to be charged AND for some kids to be punished for soliciting. The real problem is that our country has made such a big deal about sex; made it seem glamourous, while not properly educating people about it.

I feel like many of the kids who look for "love" on the internet are only trying to replace the feeling of love that they should be getting from their family. Parents need to be involved in their kids' lives and not let go of them so soon. If parents will instill a feeling of confidence and security in their children and teach them about the dangers they face, their children won't be so eager to search for outside love until when they are truely ready to find a mate.

It IS good to see preds getting caught and perhaps it deters some of them but, as we have seen, they sometimes come back even when they have been caught before. It is an addiction just like any other.
