Is Catwoman a Superhero?

Question

I need a superhero of the female gender and I was wondering if Catwoman was a superhero. I know she was a villian but there was a time she was good. Does that count or should I pick something different?

If I won't go with Catwoman I need something else to pick from something un-common and that I can dress up as with little or no money.

Catwoman is pretty much on the same wavelength as Batman but has more in common with the Punisher from Marvel universe. She is most commonly known as a vigilante. A chaotic good one at that though. Which is to say that the ends justify the means.

Catwoman lives by her own rules, tough to call her a super hero. Try Wonder Woman, super hero to the end.

Cat woman has no social or community obligations in any of her movies. She's bad or good whenever she likes just like a fickle minded woman. That's what makes her cool coz she's not the usual superheroine. Other female superhero...Wonder woman perhaps? but she's kinda like the female version of Superman. You decide.

she's only a superhero in some ways but she's not.because in the movie she said she's sometimes as mean as she wants or good.in other words she has her own rules.so i think she is not considered as a superhero.

yes cat woman is a super hero. but if you dont want to use her, you can always go with wonderwoman or some of the many others that are out there.

She's what's generally called an anti-hero. She has super powers, but since she doesn't always act as a hero she's not really a super hero.
