I would cover it with my shoe and drag it to my house , then pick it up.

I would look around, see if anyone was watching, if not, pick it up and then zoom over to my friend Eat an Apple Drink a Snappel's house except I would bring a bottle of good wine because I am not much of a beer drinker. I might buy an I-tune card for my teenage son. And if there was any leftover, I'd put it in the bank so I'd have some to spend later. These days, ya gotta stretch that $100.00 as much as possible. And yes, I have had people steal a lot more money from me than that on purpose, so I would pick it up with a clear conscience figuring that if I wasn't meant to find it, it would not be there! ♥ ☺

I must say, Dana's answer is clever. I would take it, but if I found out somehow who lost it, and they really needed it back, I'd give it back.People have dropped fives and tens near me, and I always chase after them to make sure they get it. But leaving a dropped bill that isn't linked to someone's pocket on the ground will just be giving someone else the luck. What is funny is that a two of the people I returned the money to said "Thank you, I would've kept the money, actually."

it's not IN the bank. so you're not robbing from a bank. children pick up pennies and don't get caught. this i sthe same case, just only a few 99 dollars and 99 pennies more.

Yes, but leave my number at the bank and if someone returned looking for it and was correct, I would give it to them.
