Any good magic tricks are probably not going to be easy to do for a beginner. Otherwise they would be pretty obvious. Any good trick will take lots of practice.

depending on where you live, there is probably a magic store that is near you that might be relatively small and unknown. if you go there, you should start with something easy like sponge balls, or a hot rod. both are cheap and you can easily learn some basic moves to impress your friends.
