no you could go out in the dead of winter butt naked socking wet and not get sick. people get sick from other people, when you go to work or go shopping...although if you sit in front of an air conditioner you could get a stiff neck.

According to Benjamin Franklin, cold air is not harmful to you. I've read this many places...Why not do an online search for Benjamin Franklin and "cold air"? Science seems to say no, it can't make you sick.

Absolutely not !!!! In that case, no one would survive in Northern Climates would they. People get Colds and Influenza from viruses passed from person to person, and the reason we get them more in the winter is that we spend more time indoors, around people who have the virus in the first place. Also, most Infulenzas correspond with Bird's migratory patterns, as the precursors come from them when they fly over.

No.... only if the virus is in the air. Just like the tale of sitting on cold things will give you the piles, it's not true.

It wont make you sick but it won't help if you are not feeling good already. If you have something brewing the cold air will help the sick get wrose. But, no, it won't make you sick if you aren't already.

if your immune system is down and there are germs in the air then yes it can make you sick. any air.. warm.. cold.. hot.. can make you sick if your bodys not able to fight the germs off.
