Hmm....it's been a while since I was 15. My biggest concern was wanting people to like me.

What is it you like? Plan something around that. If you have cool friends who don't care about the namebrand schtuff, you can get away with anything as long as everyone is having fun.

I'd say a pool party if you have one already, don't go spending money you don't have to impress your friends. Unless ya' get a great price from the local pools in your area like the Y or something.

Otherwise I'd say go out with your friends. Maybe a nice place to eat, and a cool movie everyone has been dyin' to see. If that's not to your liking, have a movie party at the house with rented movies.

I don't know for sure it's been ten years since I was fifteen....but really it depends on what you like...I used to like going bowling a lot or something like that.....maybe invite a few friends to a bowling alley and have pizza...it would be helpful to know your likes/dislikes to get a better idea of the things you would go for...as a teen I always liked to invite a few friends over and order pizza and have cake and get presents and that's pretty much it. I know a lot of kids like pool parties but I don't know if that's you or not....pretty much anything that has you at the center of attention is a good party idea! hope you find something fun to do and i hope you have a good birthday!

We did this: Got a hotel suite with connecting rooms, ordered pizza and used the hotel pool. Later that nite we set up game systems (each of the connecting rooms had a sitting room with a TV) and played movies in the actual rooms we also had brought board games. This worked out really great. We also had both boys and girls able to stay over since we had connecting rooms, boys on one side girls on the other with 2 adults in each room. One in actual "bedroom" one in sitting room (so no one snuck by! lol) Oh yeah, this is kind of corny but everyone loved it. I bought a whole bunch of white t-shirts and fabric paint and let everyone go for it. The kids drew on their shirts whatever they wanted then had each other sign them. If you do this in a hotel make sure you bring a sheet to protect the carpet while using the fabric paint!

Happy birthday! Take everyone at the party to go and see a movie you want to see, or all go to your favorite restaurant. Each person should pay their own way. Have fun!

Pool party. Ask your mom and dad to take the $150-200 that they'd spend on stuff that they'd never see again after the day of the party and spend it on one of those nifty quick-set pools from Wal-mart. Add food, cake, friends....you'll be the coolest b-day kid ever!!! :)
