Unlike some, I am a firm believer of all synthetic lubricants. I tried alot of different brands for my cars and truck but, not until I tried AMSOIL did I really notice a significant difference. So much so that I am now an AMSOIL Dealer and, invite you to check out my website as well as AMSOIL's homepage for literature regarding side by side testing of AMSOIL against all other leading synthetic lubricants .... Castrol, Mobil 1, Royal Purple, Golden Spectrum and more.
As for my PERSONAL experiences with AMSOIL, I've gained an average of 1 to 2 MPG, my vehicles operate cooler ( my air-cooled motorcycle engine runs 15 degrees cooler ), quieter and, I SAVE an additional $80 a year in oil changes with AMSOIL's once a year oil change ( 25,000 miles for regular service, 15,000 for severe service ). Here are a couple of links for you. The first is my website, the second is the Motorcycle oil white paper ( although it addresses all of AMSOIL's oils. Check it out if youre interested.

Yes, 1993 Ford Full size Bronco with a 5.8 litre. Just turned 160,000 miles and has had Mobil 1 all of its life. It starts, Runs and performs like the day I bought it. Firm Believer in Full synthetic oils. Also Lucas Full synthetic stabilizer as an additive and Full synthetic gear lube in the transfer case and the front and rear differentials. Runs cooler and more effeciently. Gas mileage only changed when the 36x12.5's were installed.

well I drive a semi truck for a living and run synthetic oil in the transmission and in both rear ends. The advantage of the synthetic is that is runs cooler and doesn't get hot and break down like conventional oils. also provides better lubrication for the bearings

I don't use it, but I plan on doing so. Synthetic oil does not contain the impurites that can be found in regular motor oil. Therefore, it's better for your engine, more efficient, and you'll see years added on to the life of your vehicle.

HELL NO! It would make my engine die. I need oil that burns more complete than synthetics do. But its a rotary and dispite the burning oil, understeering, 2 stroke smell, gas inefficiency, and the fact that it leaks all fluids, I love my car.

no visible smoke if the vehicle burns oil.
better lubrication. more expensive.
I use it in my 93 Buick with 196,000 miles. The car doesn't burn oil but I figured I should use the best to keep the car running as long as possible.
