Don't let them hurt you. Are you upset? You could have been when you were pregnant, but look at what you have to show off for it. Since you are young, you have a stronger bond. How could they be ashamed of you? Look at you. You haven't just suported yourself for many years, but your son. You have a lot to show off. Your young, and you have a beautiful young boy. You know what, they should be jealous of you. You have a close tie with your son, you have supported, and you love him. When you look in his eyes, I'm sure you'll see that you've done well with him.You love him. Nobody can take away the feelings and the bond you have with him. Be proud of this. If I was at a place where you presented him, I would be like, "wow, she's not old enough to have a kid." But then I'd think, "wow, look at these two. She has held him so close to her all these years." I admire your work. Though I don't think people should take you as an influence and have a child that young, I admire those who succeed. Congradulations. You've done well. They have no idea about your life. ;)

While it can be perfectly understood why people would feel they could look down on you, it is still disrespectful and rude.
My main advice is to ignore them. Other than that, try introducing your son in such a manner that shows how much you love him ("This is my son, the love of my life" etc) or simply do not reveal your age. If people go further than merely thinking less of you and actually verbalize their thoughts, do not speak rudely. Show instead how much more mature you are than them by smiling pleasantly and making a cool, biting remark.
You should feel proud that you raised a child and that you stuck to it. Don't think less of yourself because of it. As long as you treat yourself well now and do not allow your dating/sexual life to interfere with your life with your son (in fact, I hope that you keep the two completely separate) then you have every reason to hold your head high.

Damn. You were 12? When you present him as your son, don't let people know your age. If people don't know your age, they'll just assume that you're older (since your son is 14) and that you really keep in shape and look great for your age!

...got off on an early start did we?
Early bloomer?
Considering you would have to have been 12 years old when he was born, its not really a vexing problem to figure out why people look down on you.
If you saw a girl who was your age with a 14 year old son, what would you natrually think?

This isn't a question. Go complain somewhere else, like on an actual forum, where the crap belongs.
But aside, you were stupid for having sex at 12. You may or may not still be stupid. If you are, shame on you. If you aren't, good for you, and if people still look down on you, oh well, it's their problem.

Well, I don't believe this is a question, but rather a statement. Aside from this, brush it off. Being a younger mother may help you relate to your child better on their level. Besides, you probably have more "street credit" with his friends than the other moms.

That means that you were 12 when you had him. I would look down upon you too. Your old enough to be his girlfriend. Let me guess, you and your sons father are no longer together.

I certainly hope you've learned your lesson, and can teach your son to learn from your mistakes. Convey that what you did was wrong in every sense of the word. Teach him good strong morals from this.

Well, if someone says something, tell them that it was difficult, but that you don't regret raising your wonderful son, you only wish that other people could see how great he's turned out without being judgemental.
