I mean you are on the internet for crying out loud. The internet already has a vast amount of readily available information by using a search engine. There are many popular web sites devoted to your particular topics that make it easy to find information already.

If I need a factual answer to a direct question, then I'll look it up on the internet--or possibly even IN A BOOK! (for example, Q: who was the 19th President of the United States? A: Rutherford B. Hayes)
But sometimes, I might have a question that has lots of correct answers. (for example, Q: where's a good place to vacation in New England?) Or, I might want to find out if other peoples' opinions match mine. (Q: who thinks Tom Cruise is a complete lunatic?)
It can also be fun/entertaining to read other peoples' questions and answers, without even participating.
And finally...I think some people just have a little too much time on their hands!

I really have only asked one question, but I looked in a few forums first and no one had the answer, nor could I find it on any official website.
I answer questions a lot, and most of the time, sorry to say, it is to make fun of the idiot questions that some losers have. Some chick who just got grounded for not making her bed and wants a good argument for her dad about why he should let her go play anyway or some lame thing like that... I say just make your bed and forget about it. You can go "play" tomorrow!
Anyway, gotta love the 'net...

Yes. Whenever i have a question I look it up on a search engine. This Answers thing is pretty fun though, and I enjoy trying to help people.

Yes. Most questions I ask are questions that I want real humans to help me with, not something a computer can spit out about what some big important doctor wrote on the subject.

fI have had computer questions I couldn't understand from the books or tutorial. It was very complicated.

i like an opinion from a person. when i ask a direct question, i get a direction answer which helps a lot than reading pages and pages on why my puppy may be sick. i give them the symptons, and they are helpful and give me opionions on what to do. fast and easy.
