My dad is a trucker, and he is not allowed to have any passengers under 10 years old travel with him on a regular-length trip.
Hope this helps!

You have to be 18 to drive an tractor-trailer and 21 to go out of state with one. But I'm not sure about just riding in one.

Any age can ride, and on your property, drive. If they have to cross the roads, I'm pretty sure it's 13. At least that's when I started in Washington. Your state may be different.

Sorry, I saw tractor, but not trailor. None of that applies.

i don't think it is safe for children to ride on a tractor-trailer but if i did have to pick an age it would be 12.

My husband is a trucker and is currently researching different companies to work for - I ride with him - each company has a different policy - most say 18 or over - and you have to carry your own insurance on them - that is for company drivers - if you own your own rig then it is going to involve state laws as well as company policy for whomever you drive for - you will need to check with different companies but most don't like for children to ride due to the liability - Good Luck and God Bless

each companies policy varies. If the driver owns his own truck and is not under contract w/ a trucking company, there is no age limit. IF the driver drives for a company each has it's own policy - I think 12 is about the average, and then it has to be ok'd thru the company.
