No, this is just for me personally just want to be healthy and in shape. I am turning 21 in 3 months. Thanks for the answers. Helps a lot. It has been in my head for several weeks now. Especially in the summer time when everyone is trying to slim down.

Just to let you know here's how it looks:
* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
At 5'9"-5'10" your BMI is in the range of 25.5 (at 5'10") to 26.3 (at 5'9"). A normal range for your height is: 125lbs to 168lbs (at 5'9" tall), and 129lbs to 173lbs (at 5'10").
As a result: You are as healthy as a horse and there's absolutelly nothing to worry about :) In my personal opinion, you're handsome just the way you are :)
However, if you'd like to just feel better and healthier these are "guidelines" you can follow whenever you'd like :) Overall, for you to be in the range of "normal", to feel healthier and more confident about yourself, you just have to loose only from about 5 to 10lbs.
Just to let you know, it depends on your body-build (thin-bone, medium and thick) and you'd feel if you loose weight (better or ill)? You have to decide for yourself and see what's best for you and then make a decision or talk to a Professional Nutritionist / Doctor who might know a lot more about this than anyone else.

If you lose 10 pounds then you will be in your normal BMI. You can lose the weight easily by doing any type of cardio 3 times a week for 30 min. Also watching what you eat may help.

The total amount of lean (non-fat) parts of the body, including muscle at your height and age is 154 lbs, so you should weight between 154-160 lbs.
Try ShapeWorks products, I have lost 6 lbs and 7.25 inches in my first week.
You cannot find these in stores. Ask for 40% off for the month of June. Email me if you have any questions.

You are exactly my same weight and height, Yes we are considered over weight according to the doctors. But i really think we couldn't loose over 5 or 6 pounds without looking sick.

Sounds pretty good to me, but I'm willing to bet you wouldn't have to lose more than 10 or 15. If you're that worried about it, just tone up. More muscle will increase your fat burning abilities, anyway. Of course, if you "toned up" ENOUGH, you'd eventually BUILD, and could very well EXCEED 180 & be way hot doing it.

I hate it when people try to judge how fat you are by your wieght, I am 6 foot 3 in. and I weigh 300 pounds, but I do not have much fat, therefore the doctors tell me that I am in shape. YOU NEED TO GO BY YOUR BODY FAT CONTENT!!!

It sounds like you're somewhat overweight, but not obese.
If you have a big gut then you probably could stand to lose a few pounds.

Technically, yes. We need to get down to about 165 to be inline with the suggested weight limits.
(I'm there too).
