Mathew Macannehy (sorry if I butchered the spelling!) and Sandra Bullock - she lives in Austin area but I'm not sure if she's from there - but not only do we have some great celebs from our state we are also one of the few states that still offer the Homestead exemptions for property owners, we don't have a state income tax, and our real estate is still resonable (you can still buy a nice 3 bed 2 bath home for under $150,000!) and our property tax base and insurance rates are some of the least expensive in the nation! Plus in the Houston area you can't beat the quality of food in the restaurants! And Texans are fun people to be around! Good Luck And God Bless!
