Not me personally, but I know of someone who is also very keen on palindromic numbers.
We expected our daughter to be born on 13.02.2002. So, as the date arrived, no signs of her coming. The days passed, and nothing. So I could notice in my husband's eyes some kind of excitement. I was so touched, thinking he couldn't wait, and was excited because the baby was coming at any time.
I was right about that, but I could notice this shining in his eyes that wasn't just about the baby being about to come. You know how we women can sense things behind things.
And anytime we went to the midwife, he kept asking what could we do to make the baby come on a certain day.
Finally I asked him: "what kind of question is that? I mean, instead of asking if things are ok, if this is normal......."
And he said:"please, keep the baby until the 20"
WHAT???????I said.
"Yes, look, if she comes on the 20, her date of birth would be a double palindromic:
20.02.2002!!
Wouldn't that be great????"
And I thought it would.
And the days passed, and the 20 was closer and closer, one day to go, and....We had the baby!!! On the 19!!!!!
Just for a day, we didn't have a double palindromic daughter.
She is great, really the best.
But you can't help but think, if being double palindromic would have affected her life in any ways...

Hmmm ... yep. Sometimes it's a palindrome. Sometimes I promise myself a multiple of 5 or 10 (or 7, if I'm feeling weird) ... then someone goes and rates my best answer, so I have to choose another rule.
Either that or just as I go to shut down, I notice that someone has posted a really hilarious question (oddly, it often seems to be a lady in blue) which I really MUST answer.

palindromic??? not sure what that means, but i keep saying to myself i'm going to go and then i ask a question and feel like i have to replace the points by answering a few more questions!
thanks for explaining palindromic, i'v never thought of that, i like even numbers,so i do try to round things up, so if i have 239, i feel the 9 is silly so i would try to get it to 240,but it just doesn't work,so it goes on and on!

As I read through the answers, I wonder how many people actually know what a palindrome is. Lol.
But no, I really don't care what my score is, I do this for fun.

I do that all the time. I have been at level 5 forever. Went to level 5 real quick and then got sort of bored of the same old questions.

No, but I do often decide to log off and then think, "I'll just check what the latest questions are...", then get engrossed in them for a couple of hours. I need help!
