You CANNOT root for both!!!!!!!! If you do then you are a SCRUBS fan. White Sox fans only root for one team - THE WORLD CHAMPS!!!! I have been a die hard SOX fan for 30 years - been there through thick and thin, good and bad, empty and full park and will NEVER root for the CUBS!!

I'm a life long south sider, and a life long Cub's fan. I always said I that if the Sox made it to the series I would root for them. Then it actually happened. I'll admit I'm a petty man. I went out and bought an Astros' hat. I hate the Astros. But all I can think about was all the crap I'd hear from all my friends and family. You can root for one team. As long as your team is doing better.

im a sox fan u know, but if there is one thing that the sox and cub fans agree upon, its that fake fans who root for both team root for none.
they are true flip floppers, I rank them lower in trustworthiness than cub fans.(and thats pretty low btw.)
oh, and before I go:
cubs suck!

I was always a Sox fan before there were the 2005 world champs. I will always be a white sox fan. Cubs suck.

Here in Chicago there is not such thing as a baseball fan. You either a Cub Fan or a Sox Fan. Of course until last year there was no such thing as baseball...hehehe

You cant root for both. I hate the other Chicago team i forget there name. o what is it o yeah the white sox you must refer to them as the other chicago team though. I hate them as much as the Cardinals. If that was the world series game though i would root for the other chicago team. GO CUBBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can root for both but you have to have a clear cut favorite and you can't change whever one team is doing better.
My personal favorite is the cubs.
