If I wanted time to freeze when I walk into the room; have everyone at the party admire how hot I'd look, leaving me IN control of their eyes and desires.....then I'd have to say: yes.
Go for it....let me know how many heads you turn. Have a good time, too.

I wouldn't wear that to an important event.... it might look really cool to go out in, but going out probably isn't what you mean by an important event. I would wear the great top with some cool pants (even if you don't have something that looks great, maybe you could borrow something from a friend if it's just for one night or something). Don't let your old torn jeans be the only thing people notice if you're wearing that top, you know what I mean? Good luck!

It depends on what the event is and what they have specified as the dress code.
Your top may look nicer with a pair of smart, tailored black pants and heels if it is a dressy event.
There is nothing worse than being under dressed, especially if you are trying to make a good impression.
If it's a concert or a movie pre opening, etc, then I don't think there would be anything wrong with the top / jean combination.

absolutely!!!!! i love the look of an old pair of jeans with a beautiful top and maybe some fancy costume jewelry and a sexy pair of slinky high heels. i might not wear this to a wedding, but i cant think of anywhere else i wouldn't wear that. i think that look is very femine, like blue jeans and pearls! very pretty!! you go girl!!! my husband loves it when i wear heels with jeans.

No, I would leave the jeans at home. The top is enough to get attention.

I wouldn't wear it if the event was formal. If it was an informal party and I know people will be wearing casual clothes I might wear it.

Yep, it can look vintage! Well, your jeans need to be clean anyway!
Your shoes and accessories need to be very classy to balance the torn jeans.
I'd go for it.

Quantify what kind of an event is the "important event"...
Boyfriend's art opening= probably yes.
Sister's wedding= probably no.
Get my point?
