No, that simply won't work.
Cingular, T-Mobile, and all the other GSM networks of the world (Vodafone, Skyy, and so forth) are just that, GSM.
Sprint, is CDMA (same tech as Verizon)....150% incompatible with a GSM phone. Technology differences are as night and day.
CDMA is outdated, GSM is the global standard.

No. CDMA is old technology, while GSM is newer. Any carrier that runs on CDMA will not be able to activate a phone that uses GSM. GSM network phone require a chip called a SIM card, w/o that in the phone the phone will not work, its not posible to activate a GSM cell on a CDMA network. GSM handset wont even search for the towers, because it uses satillites.

Not with Sprint, but if you find another provider that offers that phone, you could just get a sim card from them and then you would be fine.

I really don't think that can happen.See wireless carriers use different types of SIM cards so only the SIM card from that company will work.
