My Sony Ericson is crap. Reviews on some good phones are wanted please. Something with excellent reception, with a camera, doesn't drop calls, some neat features maybe. What do you know is pretty good?

The thing is that Im currently with Cingular and switching phones. Probably has to be same or less in retail value...which is $99. How are the LGs like? (i.e Lg cg300) Oh I have a tendency to drop my phone. =)

Samsung A900 from Sprint/Nextel. excellent reception (Better than Verizon which is why i got it) 1.3megapixel camera with crsytal clear quality. all the bells and whistles, i.e. planner, contacts, speed dial and such. looks really cool. pretty good voice activated dialing feature. downside, battery life stinks but that'll be changed when they release the extended battery. overall, kick as* phone without the bulk of a sidekick or Treo.

I say get a SLVR from cingular because first of all cingular has excellent reception and they dont drop calls. The SLVR also has a VGA camera and and mp3 that stores up to 100 songs and so its a good phone. The only bad thing though is that if the SLVR is dropped it can break easily so you would probably want to get a cover for it but other than that, the phone is great.

Sprint has some of the coolest phones. The Samsung 900 Blade is much better than the Razr. It has 1.3 migipixel camera, video, very thin, can get GPS navigation, bluetooth, 48MB of memory plus an external memory card slot plus more. Email me and we can talk about Sprint. I work at one of the retail stores for Sprint.

Definitely the motorola RAZR. It's still the best phone on the market after almost a year since its debut. Best of all, you can get it for free with service from this site: http://www.selectivemobile.com/search.asp?aid=yh&ref=goodphone&q=razr

It all depends on what you're looking for.
Cingular models :
Nokia 6682 (it's media aspects in terms of photo can't be beat), Motorola V3 (solid reception and nice thin shape), Samsung D807 (I LOVE this thing...it's awesome...1.3 mega camera, MP3, slider-shape.)
European phones :
Ericcson w800i - absolutely smokes any other GSM phone I've seen on the American market....2mega camera, MP3, customizable MP3 ringtones, awesome HEAVY memory....etc.
Nokia N90 - just look online, you'll see.

I like Nokia, they are rated as most reliable. Maybe not the fanciest, but they do now have a camera flip phone.

Probably the Virgin Mobile snapper. It is prepay but has a built in camera for a reasonable price.
