Will my laptop warranty cover the fact that my 3 yr old son popped off the "Enter" key and now it won't work?

If not, any ideas how to fix it? There was this little rubber piece that went under the key and it is long since missing.

Your warranty should cover a key falling out (that's all they need to know).

depends on the coverage of your warranty. If you have a dell with an exteneded warranty they will cover it. A tech will even come to your house or office to fix it. I do it all the time :)

just dont tell them that is what happened!! say u dont know :) play dumb..thats what I do.
