I was as an operations manager for a large company and it sucked. I left in Jan opened my own business and I am doing ok. We are struggling as we are a new business but it was truly my only way to make more money doing something that kept me sane. I live in NYC and could have taken another job for alot of money but then the commute, the traffic if i drive the stress of being in the city every day making money for someone else.

Become self employed if possible

I have made over 30K$, but usually not. I get good reviews, do the odd things overlooked, am uniquely qualified. sometimes being part of the "Club" is most important in income.
