The block is good. The rod bearing gave way, and I need to know ABOUT how much this could cost.

most comon rebuilds are around 1000-1600 for basicks your going to need a crank if it cant be ground you might be abloe to half *** it by just geting a crank and rod but good uck on that try looking up jasper they do exelent jobs on rebuild what ever there price is figure about 20 % less any were else but there the top in the biz

to re build the engine and do it right you are looking at around 1000 bucks. that includes the overhaul kit, the machine shop work etc. you can do it cheaper but if you want it done right then that is about what you are looking at

$2000.00 if you do most of the work $5000.00 if you hand someone the keys
