RIDICULOUS, imo. Its like getting a phone call from a stalker and when he shows up at your door, you sue the phone company for not protecting you.
Stfu. You also DO NOT need 30 million dollars, just because your kid is a dumbass and doesn't know better than to meet people from the internet. I seriously have no sympathy at all for them. Perioddd. How bout you.

I agree with that. Maybe the parent should have been more of a parent and none of this would have happen. The Internet is making it easier for predators but it is the same as it was 30 years ago, parents should watch over their children and see what they are doing. If they make dumb *** decisions then that is their kids fault, not the Internet.

i imagine your maximum proper decision will be to communicate with a counselor. i'd call an adoption corporation and ask them in the journey that they could per chance communicate with her. i comprehend you're antagonistic to her having the infant yet perchance she's no longer conscious of all her thoughts. perchance she ought to communicate with someone about an open adoption. She would get to settle on the infant's moms and dads and nonetheless be an element of the infant's existence by photos and letters. this can make her experience more effective comfy than an abortion. i am going to work out you're in misery about this example and as tousled because it should be, she truly does get the in simple terms precise say so on what she needs to do. that is not any longer honest that you need to have this further burden for your relatives yet if she keen to save this infant then that is exceedingly a lot thrown on you. i really choose I knew what to inform you. there is truly no basic ending to this finished situation.

yeah i agree that it's ridiculous. 14 year olds shouldn't even be on myspace, shouldn't even be meeting people from myspace at all. apparently the mother isn't doing her job because she didn't know her kid was meeting someone from myspace. even if she did, she still let it happen. blame the parent on this one. don't punish the rest of us who enjoy it for normal reasons. it's an easy way out. people believe that instead of parenting their own child, everyone else should go out of their way and alter their lives to make sure that child isn't affected in any way. the society we live in is really perpetuating this lazy attitude. it'll never hold up in court because technically myspace has done nothing wrong. they give the option of making profiles private for underage users but these kids list themselves as over 18, and accept all friend requests. and under myspace's help section they have tips on how to avoid abuse and how to remove underage users.

in fact i just relayed this information to a friend of mine who is on myspace(along with myself), and his reply was:
people dont want to take responsibilty for their own ignorance its the same complex with that dumbass that burned her lap with hot coffee with the cup not declaring : "Caution: Contents Hot"

from myspace's help section for parents:

If you are trying to remove your own child's account, please work with your child to remove the account. Once you are logged into MySpace.com, click on 'Account Settings' and then click on 'Cancel Account'. An email will be sent to the email address (the same one used as the login name) to verify Account Deletion.

If you do not receive the confirmation email, please remove all content from your child's profile, and enter in the text 'Remove Profile' in the 'About Me'. This lets us know that you have taken control of your child's account. Please alert us with the URL to the profile in question, and we can remove the profile for you.

I agree, it's ridiculous. Some people never want to be accountable for their own stupidity - always looking to blame others

no the parent should have been monitoring the child. thats why they have so many specials on it and have monitoring devices for making sure your child is scure online. they should sue her for being stupid and not using them.
