Just a silly question. Though I have never seen root beer ice cream. I live in Southern California.

they do make root beer ice cream! there is a box of it in the freezer now, it says 'great value' brand, which i'm told is Wal-Mart, so now you know where to look for it!

You can buy concentrate to make root beer. Ask at your grocery store, or you can find it on the net.
Just add some root beer flavor to vanilla ice cream, and voila!

I live in Houston Texas. And there is a creamery here that makes Root Beer flovored ice cream

Check out the International Ice Cream Factory in east Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They have 218 flavors and I'm SURE they have rootbeer.

The Schwans man has frozen ice cream cups flavored like root beer floats...it'll float your boat!

I'll do you one better, who don't they make a beer flavored ice cream!!! or even better still..give me some ice cream and beer and I'll mix the two in my stomach :)

You're not shopping in the right ice-cream shoppes! They DO have Rootbeer flavored ice-cream. However, I'm in Canada, and I'm not sure where you are. Good luck in your search.
Oh, and no, I still like rootbeer floats better. ;-)
