This girl is saying she's going to have my cousins baby. And he had a vasectomy about 9 years ago after he and his wife divorced. What are the chances this baby is his? Is it possible? Anyone know someone who did get pregnant from a fixed man?

It is possible just as there are women who get pregnant after a tubal ligation but it is rare. A vasectomy can sometimes not "take" or the vas diferense may not be entirely sealed. If in doubt your cousin should see a doctor and have a sperm count done or have a paternity test done.

I could understand if the guy just had the vasectomy since you can get pregnant within two weeks after the procedure... but 9 years? That's pretty much impossible.

If done wisely no he can't get a lady pregnant. the finished objective in a vasectomy is to steer away from being pregnant. He desires to bypass in for semen diagnosis to make effective his sperm factor is at 0. A vasectomy might want to nicely be reversed. even if the guy might want to have a low sperm count number and the couple might want to choose fertility remedies to conceive (I have a buddy who went by skill of this).

My step brother and his wife had 3 pregnancies with 2 births after his vasectomy. She would never dream of cheating. I got pregnant myself twice while on the patch. Needless to say, I'm not on it anymore!

No. After 9 years this is very unlikely. If you said a few months I would have said possibly. But I really doubt it.

It is possible the "sperm" tube that gets snipped has a chance of repairing the tube-- This is similar to a womans tubes untying and her being able to get pregnant again. Rare but totally possible.
