I shaved mine when I was 13, but that was in 1971.

My 10 yr old daughter wants to shave, but I have my reservations. That is why i am asking.

I don't remember for me....but I allowed my daughter to shave when she got her period for the first time. Gave her something to look forward to and it took the edge off of the fear of starting. We did it together and we had the opportunity to talk about what was going on with her body......trust me we had already talked about all of it....but it's different to talk about something you are going through.

Two of my best friends and I were curious at age 11 and shaved our legs with an electric razor. We were competing to see who had the most leg hair as if the person that did have the most was more sophisticated. Silly! I also was in trouble when I got home and told my Mom of the events.

WELL I WAS 11, I think thats a fine age depending if your hair was very thick and visible. Mine wasnt but I decided to and I've been shavin ever since. I would think age 12 is better though.
