you need to find out what the code is. why the light is on. to throw money into the car with out know the problem is waste. The light can come on for just a loose fuel cap! I think napa sell the scanner to check the code.

Sounds like the fuel filter is plugged up and throwing a code from the o2 sensor. I'd replace the fuel pump, put fresh fuel in it (just in case you got some bad gas) and reset the computer.

if it is cutting out while you r driving it could be a fuel pump or there is a sensor that cuts the gas. auto man's put this on so in case of a accident the gas will be cut off. But get a decoder to c exactly what is wrong with your problem.

change plugs and wires. lite coming on for missfire code will reset on its own after 10 drive cycles same hold true for neon
