Assuming you were 'straight' and you had a crush on a guy or girl and later found they were homosexual, you would have to ask yourself if you would be satisfied with just being friends. If you wanted more than friendship, you would obviously be wasting your time.
If you were homosexual and you found out they were too (as long as they were the same sex as you) then you certainly could ask them out with possibility of furthering the relationship.

Only if I was a homosexual too! But I could be their friend. Homosexuals, especially men, are very intelligent, talented, and make great friends to females.

Yes, I might, if I liked her. If she were a Christian who felt attracted to other women but didn't act on it, then I wouldn't hold that against her. But if she wasn't even open to the idea of dating a man at all, then I guess she'd say no anyway, wouldn't she?

Is this guy actually gay, or is he bi? If he's bi, then by all means. If he's gay, what is your motivation? Are you looking to be disappointed? Both his and your feelings should be more important to you than that, no? Let's hope he turns out to be bi; after all, many women will tell you that the best men to date are bi boys...

No because they might cheat you if they are homesexual. Just ask to be friends then you can always stare at them. LOL. You might like them but they might just not be your type. Its just a waste of time. Also it would kindo o be dumb.

if they're gay and you're the opposite sex, theres a pretty good chance you'd just be wasting your time. Unless they play for both teams.
