It seems like when his sister Julia , got famous , Eric dropped out of movie-making ? Why is that ; and what is he doing these days ?

I have always liked his work. He has taken roles that were a bit on the edge, sort of like Peter Coyote, another actor that I like, but who has never been a major player like Tom Cruise or Tom Hanks. Maybe Eric is involved behind the scenes, instead of being in front of the camera. He seems like a bright guy, perhaps he is giving a shot at being a director. I have always thought that he was more talented than his sister.

Eric is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood. He does small movies, guest star appearances on TV and even the occasional A-List movie. I think he's gotten better with age.

He's never been as big as his sis, not even beforehand, but he still acts and so does his daughter these days.
He's still cute too!
