Eat foods rich in Zinc e.g. poultry, meats, eggs, liver etc. as zinc is more effective than antibiotics. That should prevent your eruptions from being infected and eventually becoming spots. Drink lots of water too. Dont drink the whole 8 glasses in one sitting as that will be a waste, one glass every 20 or more minutes. You still have to use a cleanser a and an oil free moisturiser e.g. by nivea.
As for clearing the existing spots thats tough. Products with hydroloquine (the recommended 2%) will clear them but you might have excessive acne eruptions if you use the products for long. If you are patient let them clear on their own. Just concentrate on preventing more eruptions.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

I have used Glycolic Acid a 10% solution or 25% solution clears up the acne & also helps with the scars. Use it daily after washing your face. I had really bad scars on my chin from adult acne & it helped alot. You can purchase this at a beauty supply store, I purchased it from Total Beauty Experience. Try to stay out of the sun or wear a hat .
If you try it I wish you great results.

Wash your face twice a day with a mild cleanser. Make sure you wash your skin whenever it becomes sweaty or greasy. Don't scrub your face as this will only make your acne worse- so wash it gently!! N dab dry. N use cold water. Don't try to wash it away- Acne isn't caused by dirt. In fact people with oily skin have cleaner skin than average because they wash it more often. But it's a fact that washing too much can make acne worse because it makes the skin dry and sore. After cleansing, and preferably toning as well, use a water-based moisturiser because greasy or oily sun blocks and creams block the pores and may cause pimples.
Most people who suffer from acne go out and spend good money on common over-the-counter acne treatment products. The truth is, most of these products are full of chemicals that can actually slow down the healing of acne, and irritate your skin, causing farther breakouts. Most mainstream acne treatments are not only much more expensive than common household items, but they also don't always work as well either. Thats why i would recommend that you try home remedies, like:
1) Apply a mixture of 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder directly 2 spots.
2) Dry out some orange peels n then grind em. Add water n mix 2 a paste. Apply on and around pimples.
3) Rub fresh garlic on and around pimples. Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications.
4) Mix 1 tablespoon groundnut oil with 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples.
5) Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night.
6) Apply a paste of fresh fenugreek leaves (Indian version- methi) over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and wash with warm water.
7) Apply the pulp (bit u eat) of a raw papaya on swelling pimples.
8) Apply fresh lime juice mixed to a glass of boiled milk as a face wash for pimples.
9) Mix lime juice and rose water in equal portions. Apply on affected area. Wash it off after 20-30 minutes with lukewarm water.
10) Apply ripe tomatoes pulp on pimples and kept up to 1 hour, then wash.
These all use natural ingredients, so it is highly unlikely that you'll have a reaction to any of them. Also, you have to take care of your diet, for example making sure you drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to flush out toxins from your system, and avoid greasy junk food that can make your spots worse. hope that all helped, lol!
