Madison was first and weighs 6 pounds and 4 ounces and is 19 inches long. Madeline weighs 6 pounds exactly and is 18 and a half inches long. What do you think about there names. We had planned the names before i got pregnant. We are only 22 do you think that is too young to have children at and we want to have more really soon. we have 4 children we had adopted two last year.

Great names, although you might get confused when calling Maddie! Since they may both answer. I am 29 and have 5 kids. By the time I was 21, I had 3. Lots of people gave me crap about having so many. I wouldnt trade it for the world. You are lucky that you were able to adopt. Thats the way I would like to go if we want more.

No this is not too young, and congratulations. My hubby and I are young as well. I was 19 when I had my first (and yes we were already married and he was planned) and I was 20 when I had my second. I am now 23 and we are planning on trying for more next year. I am hoping for twin boys. We have also considered adoption, but we think that it is something we will do later in life when we want more, but probably shouldnt medically speaking (like early 40's). Kudos to you for adopting and congrats on the twins.

No, you are not too young. If you have the money and the rescources I think that is GREAT!!!! CONGRATS!!! I also think it is GREAT that you adopted two others. There needs to be more people like you in the world. Also the seven and four year olds will help out with the twins. I know by experience. I had my baby girl when my boys were 7 and 9.

Congratulations! I've said it before and I'll say it again. I've known 16 year olds who were better parents than 40 year olds. Age doesn't make that much of a difference. I give you credit for being married, and the fact that you've already adopted two children shows that you understand the responsibility involved. Don't be surprised to be struggling financially for quite a while. We have four kids in our mid-thirties and it's still hard to make ends meet sometimes after years of working and saving. But you've got the energy and enthusiasm to make it work. Don't forget to enjoy them while their young. It goes by way too quickly. My babies are 11,7,5 and 2 (her birthday was last Saturday). I have no idea where the years have gone and my baby has started using the potty and climbing out of her crib. I'm not ready to not have baby in my house.

If you can afford them and you want them then don't worry about age. It sounds like you are doing a great thing. Congrats on the twins - as a mother of twins myself, let me tell you that you are in for an entirely new experience! I'm 22 myself - and my twins are almost a year old. You know what you can handle - if you give them all the love that you have then you aren't too young. One piece of advice though - with twins there are multiple challenges - wait for a couple of years before having/adopting any more. Great names!

wow! that is awesome. and yall picked beautiful names. so many children are born in an unhealthy envoirment. Yall kept on going. Yall have the love and the means. I love to hear when people are married and having children. (not that people can't handle it on their own). It touches my heart to hear that you have adopted children. Praise God. May yall be blessings to God! age doesn't matter, ( in this situtation), its the person that matters. I had my first when I was 19, my second when I was 22, I'm 24 and we are expecting baby #3. My sister had her first when she was 16, ( I will say she had it hard the first couple of years and I'm not telling 16 yr olds to get pregnant), but she did great. now she has three girls and she is doing good. So I think yall are doing a wonderful job.

Congrats on the twins!! And choosing to breastfeed them! I have trouble keeping up with one! GO YOU!!
Your not too young to be parents. I had my first when I was 21, and have 2 now, the plan is for at least 1 more (up to 6 total). Its not your age that determines if you're capable of raising kids, its your maturity level. I know MANY older people who are way less mature than some younger people I know.

Congratulations. Enjoy your family.

But don't make any big decisions for the first year of the twins' lives. Everyone needs more love and affection right now, including you and you have to make sure you physically recover from birth before doing it again. Waiting 18 months minimum to five years maximum between pregnancy is considered healthiest.

It's so nice to meet someone who loves being a mother.

Congrats. And no you're not young. I had twins when I was 18 and I'm pregnant with my third child. I'm now 22. Both my children are healthy and smart and they just turned 4. Just try to be the best parent you can be. Good Luck.
